SHIK S32
32 macro knobs with a stackable MIDI processing engine and LFO modulation.

The S32 is a standalone MIDI processor and macro controller, designed for complete control over hardware, software, or hybrid setups. Control hardware, software, or hybrid rigs, generate movement, build evolving sequences, and route MIDI intelligently from one central device.

Control Everything
The S32 puts your entire setup at your fingertips. Build complex macros, apply real-time MIDI effects and LFO modulation, expand to CV, and enjoy flexible routing across all your gear.
32 Macro Knobs
Each high-res knob sends up to 4 MIDI messages at once, with per-message channel, routing, min/max, invert, pickup, and MIDI Learn.
Any parameter in MIDI effects, connected devices, or internal LFOs can be assigned and controlled as a macro.
Parameters can be assigned easily and directly on the device while playing live.
Smooth high resolution for precise control.

MIDI Processing Engine
The S32 includes a powerful MIDI processing engine with stackable, customizable racks.
Shape your sound with Harmonizer, Scale Remap, Arpeggiator, Turing Machine, Polyphonic Envelope, Euclidean Sequencer, Looper, Delay, Randomizer, Filters, Mergers, Routers, and more.
Build dynamic sequences, add generative layers, or create custom MIDI paths – all tailored to your setup.

LFO Modulation
Modulate any parameter using the built-in LFO engine.
Assign LFOs for continuous, hands-free movement. Chain LFOs to modulate other LFOs for complex, evolving wave shapes that no static setting could produce. Animate CC outputs to add movement to any hardware, even gear with no internal modulation or CV options.
Turn static gear into evolving instruments.

Built to Last. Ready to Go.
The S32's compact all-metal enclosure is built for both the studio and the stage.
A large 3.12" OLED display keeps your settings, presets, and rack parameters visible at a glance. Two dedicated buttons and one endless encoder make navigation fast and intuitive.
Everything is configured directly on the device. No computer required. An additional web editor will be available for deeper editing and setup.
Your setups are saved to internal flash memory, with micro SD support for expanding your storage.

Flexible Connectivity
Easily connect your DAW, hardware, or both – perfect for hybrid setups.
MIDI USB
MIDI In
2× MIDI Out
MIDI Thru
Micro HDMI – for external module connectivity
USB Host
Route every MIDI message and effect exactly where you need it, with full control over your signal flow.

Expand Beyond MIDI
Pair the S32 with the CV16 module for 16 channels of 16-bit MIDI-to-CV output.
The CV16 is fully controlled from the S32, allowing notes and modulation from the S32 rack system to be automatically translated into CV signals. Use internal LFOs on any CV output, modulate LFO parameters with other LFOs, and chain multiple CV16 modules for expanded control of modular and semi-modular gear.
(CV16 sold separately.)

About SHIK
SHIK started out making simple MIDI controllers and has kept evolving by listening to user feedback along the way.
The current N32B series delivers advanced features that hold up to professional demands: 4095-step high-resolution knobs, intuitive MIDI CC configuration through a web-based editor, macro mapping, and more.
This time we introduced the S32, newly announced by SHIK.
The S32 is expected to ship around September 2026. Takazudo Modular also expects to accept pre-orders, with the price likely to be around ¥88,000. A product detail page will be added here in due course.
Judging from what has been announced, it looks like the S32 is being developed as quite a powerful MIDI controller.
What I (Takazudo) personally found interesting is the following:
Shape your sound with Harmonizer, Scale Remap, Arpeggiator, Turing Machine, Polyphonic Envelope, Euclidean Sequencer, Looper, Delay, Randomizer, Filters, Mergers, Routers, and more.
Exactly how these features will work hasn't been published in detail yet, but looking at the list, the S32 appears to recreate most of the functions you would find in a modular synthesizer.
The reason older MIDI controllers don't have features like these comes down simply to the performance of the components inside. Thanks to technological progress, the microcontrollers usable in music gear like this can now be freely programmed to implement such features. The S32 seems to take advantage of that, aiming in software to be a piece of music gear that goes beyond a MIDI controller — which the product calls its MIDI processing engine. It's an exciting product with a lot of potential.
The CV16, also planned for release, is a welcome product for modular synth users. Since the S32 itself is the multi-functional MIDI engine described above, it will presumably be able to output not just fixed CV from the knobs, but LFOs, Turing Machines, and more. Being able to control those from the modular side as well opens up all kinds of possibilities. MIDI-controlled modular synths are also on the rise, so the S32 could serve as a command center controlling both MIDI devices and modular gear.
Functionally, the S32 appears to be a higher-end version of the N32B Slim — though the N32B Slim itself is plenty powerful. For the features that form the basis of the S32, see our N32B Slim guide below.
