What is the ADDAC200PI Pedal Integrator?
The ADDAC200PI is a 2-channel interface module designed for connecting modular systems with effect pedals. It attenuates the high-voltage output from modular equipment to a level suitable for pedals (line level), and conversely amplifies the signal from pedals back to modular level, enabling safe and clear bidirectional signal exchange.
Level Conversion Architecture
Each channel operates with the following configuration:
- Send (Modular -> Pedal): The high-voltage signal from the modular side is attenuated by an internal attenuator to a level the pedal can handle (typically around -20dB).
- Return (Pedal -> Modular): The signal returning from the pedal is amplified by an internal amplifier circuit to modular level (5-10V range).
This prevents overloading the pedal's input while ensuring the return signal is at a sufficient level for use within the modular system.
Jack Conversion Feature
Each channel is equipped with both 3.5mm (for modular) and 6.35mm (for pedals) connectors.
