This is an introduction to the CV16 by SHIK, planned for availability at Takazudo Modular.

The CV16 is a MIDI-to-CV expander designed to be used together with the S32. With 16-bit resolution and 16-channel CV output, it lets you control the CV inputs of modular synthesizers and semi-modular gear directly from the S32's MIDI processing engine.

Overview

CV16 is a MIDI-to-CV expander designed to be used together with the S32.

  • 16-bit resolution, 16-channel CV output

  • Fully controllable from the S32 side

  • Automatically converts notes and modulation from the S32's rack system into CV signals

  • Internal LFO can be applied to any CV output

  • Multiple CV16 units can be chained for expansion

It enables direct control of CV inputs on modular synthesizers and semi-modular equipment from the S32's MIDI processing engine.

Pricing and detailed specifications are not yet determined.
