This is an introduction to the S32 by SHIK, available at Takazudo Modular.
The S32 is a standalone MIDI processor / macro controller equipped with 32 macro knobs. With a stackable MIDI processing engine and built-in LFO modulation, it lets you control hardware, software, or any hybrid combination of the two from a single central device.

32 Macro Knobs
The S32 comes equipped with 32 high-resolution macro knobs. Each knob can send up to 4 MIDI messages simultaneously, with per-message settings for channel, routing, min/max values, inversion, pickup, and MIDI Learn.
Any parameter across MIDI effects, connected devices, or the built-in LFOs can be assigned as a macro and controlled directly. Assignments can be made on the device itself, even during a live performance.
The knobs support 14-bit resolution for smooth, precise control.
MIDI Processing Engine
The S32 features a MIDI processing engine with a stackable (rack-style), customizable architecture.
Modules including Harmonizer, Scale Remap, Arpeggiator, Turing Machine, Polyphonic Envelope, Euclidean Sequencer, Looper, Delay, Randomizer, Filters, Mergers, and Routers can be used to process and transform MIDI signals.
Whether you want to build dynamic sequences, add generative layers, or create custom MIDI routing, the engine can be configured to fit your setup.
LFO Modulation
The built-in LFO engine lets you modulate any parameter continuously.
Assign an LFO to add ongoing movement to any control, or chain LFOs together so one modulates another — creating complex, ever-evolving waveforms. You can also animate CC output via LFO to add motion to gear that has no internal modulation or CV options.
Enclosure, Display, and Navigation
The S32 features a compact all-metal enclosure — sandblasted matte black metal, built for use in both studio and stage environments.
A 3.12-inch OLED display gives you a clear view of your settings, presets, and rack parameters. Navigation is handled by a single endless encoder and two tactile buttons.
All configuration is done directly on the device — no computer required. A web editor for deeper editing and setup is also planned.
Settings are saved to built-in flash memory, with support for external microSD card storage expansion as well.
Connectivity
The S32 works with DAWs, hardware, or both.
MIDI USB
MIDI In
MIDI Out × 2
MIDI Thru
USB Host
Micro HDMI for external module expansion
All MIDI messages and effects can be routed wherever you need them, giving you full control over your signal flow.
CV16 Expansion
Pairing the S32 with the CV16 module adds 16-bit, 16-channel MIDI-to-CV output to your setup.
The CV16 is fully controlled from the S32 side, automatically converting notes and modulation from the S32's rack system into CV signals. You can apply an internal LFO to any CV output, modulate LFO parameters with another LFO, or chain multiple CV16 units to expand control over modular and semi-modular gear.
The CV16 is sold separately.

About the S32
The S32 is SHIK's take on a standalone MIDI processor / macro controller. Building on the core functionality of their N32B Slim MIDI controller, the S32 adds 32-knob macro control alongside a stackable MIDI processing engine and LFO modulation.
It's designed to handle MIDI effect processing, LFO modulation, and CV expansion via the CV16 — all without a computer, entirely on the device itself. The S32 is built to sit at the center of setups that span both hardware and software.
About SHIK
SHIK started out making simple MIDI controllers and has kept evolving by listening to user feedback along the way.
The current N32B series delivers advanced features that hold up to professional demands: 4095-step high-resolution knobs, intuitive MIDI CC configuration through a web-based editor, macro mapping, and more.
That concludes our introduction of the S32.
