This is an introduction to the The Sun + UFO blank panel series, made by Takazudo as a hobby project. This is a set of two design blank panels: a 12HP "The Sun" and a 20HP "UFO," one of each.

Overview
These blank panels were designed by Takazudo using CAD data and manufactured at a factory.
The material is FR-4, commonly used for PCB substrates, which offers excellent heat resistance. The shiny areas are copper, with an ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) surface finish — nickel and gold plating applied over the copper layer.
When making PCBs, copper is used for conductive areas. These blank panels are made the same way, with the entire shiny surface area designated as the copper layer that would normally be used for electrical conduction.
The Sun and UFO were previously sold separately, each as a two-panel set. I decided it would be better to bundle them together rather than selling them in separate sets. The UFO is actually the second generation, manufactured by a different vendor than the original. While this resulted in slightly higher costs, the surface black is now a matte finish and the copper layer is thicker than before, giving it a somewhat premium quality.
