This page explains the warranty and return policy for products purchased at Takazudo Modular.
First and foremost, regardless of whether a product is under warranty or within its warranty period, please contact us if you feel something is wrong with what you purchased.
About Product Warranty
Product warranties follow each manufacturer's own policy. For example, the OXI ONE from OXI Instruments and products from ADDAC System that our shop carries come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, assuming normal use. For products that come with a manufacturer's warranty, we note this on the product details page.
That said, given the nature of modular synths, many of them are made in a DIY fashion by individuals or very small companies. For such products, the vendor often has no warranty policy in place at all. In these cases, our shop covers only initial defects within 1 month of arrival. Assuming normal use, if a product proves to be defective within 1 month of arrival, we will exchange it for a new unit if one is in stock, or issue a refund.
About Returns
We accept returns only when a product is defective, and only within 1 month of arrival. Please note that we do not accept returns due to change of mind.
If a product is defective, we will exchange it for a new unit if one is in stock, or issue a refund if it is not.
For products whose manufacturers have their own warranty or return policies, those policies apply.
