4.2 Instrument Definitions

Instrument definitionは、外部デバイスへのMIDI CCマッピングのための事前定義された設定です。外部デバイスのパラメーターをコントロールするために各CCを手動で設定する代わりに、選択した機器のinstrument definitionがパラメーターを自動的にマッピングし、その名前を適用します。これにより時間を節約でき、外部機器のMIDI continuous controlメッセージを効率的に扱うことができます。

OXI E16のInstrument definitionは、任意のコントロールのdestination 1、2、またはpush destination設定で選択されます。この例では、Audiothingies MicroMonsta2がMIDIで接続されており、手動設定なしにE16からCCコントロールを実行できます。Instrument definitionを転送した後は、E16を再起動することで、それらがE16で表示されアクセス可能になります。

OXI Appを使用して、データベースからinstrument definitionをダウンロードし、OXI E16とPC/Mac間でdefinitionファイルを転送できます。

デバイスのinstrument definitionは、destinationの「Instrument」オプションで選択されます。

コントロールのマッピングされたパラメーターは、「Parameter」でも利用可能です。

Note

Instrument definitionはデバイス上でユーザー設定できませんが、OXI Appで作成できます。これらは個別に作成し、アプリを使用してOXI E16にロードできます。メーカーがデバイスのCCマッピングを変更した場合、instrument definitionは元の設定通りに機能しない可能性があります。Instrument definitionはsceneと共に保存され、アプリでバックアップできます。Instrument editorについては、OXI Appマニュアルを参照してください。
